Hi, i would like to integrade a Radeon 9600 Pro on my Sockel A System under Windows 98 SE.
I tried a standard Risercard like this:

But my PC dont detect the videocard.
Then i insulate the Risercard. Finally i can install the driver and the PC detect the videocard.
But if i start 3dmark 2001, the pc freeze after few seconds.
I edit my AGP voltage from 1.5V to 1.7V already. But i have still freezes.

My last chance is an other AGP Risercard like with a platine or a factory insulated risercard.
Here i find all what i need. But i dont know if it really works.

Especially the AGPFlex-02 is interesting. But its a big risk bcoz the shippingcost from USA to Germany is 100USD. 🙁
Had someone build a PC with a flexible AGP Risercard? Or have someone a solution for me?
Its one of the last step to finish my project. I had such problem also with PCI Risercards. Some works, some not.
So i hope a good AGP Risercard settle my problem.

Enclosed a pic of my system and the insulated risercard.

Play with the settings in BIOS, spread spectrum on and off, force AGP 2x, aperture size 32MB or smaller (sometimes necessary for 9x stability without risers)

Unicorn herding operations are proceeding, but all the totes of hens teeth and barrels of rocking horse poop give them plenty of hiding spots.
