I've been trying to get an agp rendition verite spider 2200 working in win98.

I've tried some of the reference drivers but when I go into display options to change resolution or colour it locks up. Could it be because I'm not using the official drivers for the card?

I've tried to source them online but I can't find them anywhere.

Which exact Verite 2200 vid card do you have ? Many required a BIOS upgrade for the later driver versions.
There were a few other companies that made cards based on the Verite 2200.
One was InnoVision WARRIOR 3D: http://web.archive.org/web/20000301042131/htt … //www.ivmm.com/ driver was on FTP not found yet
another is the Hercules Thriller 3D: http://web.archive.org/web/19990429193401/htt … er/thrill3d.htm
driver: http://vogonsdrivers.com/getfile.php?fileid=3 … &menustate=17,1

QDI Vision 1: http://web.archive.org/web/20000304204900/htt … /eng/d_2200.htm

Hate posting a reply and then have to edit it because it made no sense 😁 First computer was an IBM 3270 workstation with CGA monitor. Stuff: https://archive.org/details/@horun

Its made by ACHITEC which apparently made a few motherboards ,

https://web.archive.org/web/19990219095341/ht … :80/aboutus.htm
That explains what little I could find about them , apparently they were a branch of qualitek

There is a drivers page with this specific card but unfortunately no one archived the files and achitec was defunct sometime 2001 so its been lost to time

Hmm ok so V2200 Windows 95 display drivers, v2200-95.zip, 99/01/18, 338K
lead me here looking for a v2200-9 file of about 338k with files dates close to Jan 1999
Which lead me to the attached. File has modified name but is right size and file dates based on everything....
Try it ! It may not work with a AGP version and You need to totally remove the existing driver or else it may not work if it does support AGP cards
(may not work anyway)...

Bummer. What BIOS version does your video card have ?
Can you post a picture of the computer booting that show the video BIOS ?

Appears to be the 3.0b4 reference driver from 14/04/99
