In some games like nfs 4 or dirt track racing i get poor performance.

I have a P3 800 with a geforce 2 TI card on Win98SE

NFS 4 for example on 1280 all details max i get around 25-40 fps, but most of the time its stuck on 25-26. if i decrease it to 640 x 480 the fps are the same and it never runs more with than 38 FPS. I f disable Z buffer in options than I get only the half of the FPS. this is bit weired, if i lower to 640 it should do way more fps.

In 3D mark 2000 i get around 6150 points, I do not know if its good or not. I found a benchmark on the net with an AMD athlon 950 and a geforce 2 pro, and it got 7500 points, so i think here is the cpu benefit. another benchmark i have found is with a duron 800 and the guy had 6300.

my board is a gigabyte GA-6VXC7-4X-P with a VIA Pro 133A chip. since this board has issues with AGP4X I am using AGP2x.

Is my result normal or is it too slow?
