Hi guys!

Planning to buy HP Vectra VL400 ATX (Pentium III 866Mhz). D9820-60007 Could you please tell me something about that motherboard? How good/stable is it? I want use this PC for DOS/Win95 games. There are two ISA slots, but it's a bit tricky, the motherboard uses "HP Two ISA Extension Slot Kit", so it's some kind of extension card. Do I get a headache using it for ISA sound card under DOS?

As I understand it's P3 Coppermine only, right?

That motherboard was used in a few different configurations. Desktop w/o expansion, Desktop with Riser, Mini/mid tower with ISA expansion. If you do not have the manual it is linked below, pages 9 to 13 in the Tech show the diff configs.
Should be an Intel 815 chipset and it should support soc 370 Celeron and Coppermines but exactly what it supports would be based on the BIOS version. Depending on what PCI-ISA bridge chip is used on that expansion the results can be good or bad for using various DMA requires ISA cards (like certain sound cards)...
Can you tell us the board model ? On the white sticker should be a six or seven digit code like D9820A, D9820TR, etc.
