Hello, i got my hands on PC Chips M700 socket 370 board with DDR/SDR support on SIS635.
The board does work correctly with the 1266-S cpu, although it boots. When i choose 133 FSB it does not boot, it run with 100mhz fsb so it run the cpu at 950mhz (9.5x100 and not 9.5x133). It runs perfectly with Celeron Tualatin 1300 though so it is not a matter of the correct multi but with 133 fsb. I tried both 133/133 (ram) as well 133/100(ram) and the result is the same.
It look identical to ECS P6S5AT, can i flash it with the latest bios from ECS or someone from here is kind enough to supply me with the latest PC Chips bios? I found one online but i do not know if it is a latest, neither i trust it.
Thank you, John

This archive lists a BIOS from 9/14/01: https://web.archive.org/web/20061020193248fw_ … bios.asp#M700MR

After watching many YouTube videos about older computer hardware, YouTube began recommending videos about trains - are they trying to tell me something?

good find. also known as the PIII-3700MR
the last page I could find to list the M700 bios is: https://web.archive.org/web/20040212025322fw_ … bio-update.html
which takes you here: https://web.archive.org/web/20040212055933fw_ … bca.m700mr.html
so in the 11/02/2001 is the last bios probably made for the board (and is downloadable from Amptron)

added: did see a reference to a 020830s.rom but was on pcchips ftp and no way to get it to check...

Hate posting a reply and then have to edit it because it made no sense 😁 First computer was an IBM 3270 workstation with CGA monitor. Stuff: https://archive.org/details/@horun
