Hello there.

I'm currently re-building my Windows 98SE gaming computer. I will be playing 3D Win98 games (No MS-DOS games), such as Tomb Raider series, NFS series, Fifa series (99 - 2005), Unreal, Quake..

And also a bit of 3D modelling, animation.. (3D Studio MAX)

A wide variety of games I'm planning to play, therefore in terms of first of all, Win98 driver stability&game compatibility, and then performance,
so which card would you, the Vogons masters suggest me? And why?

Radeon 9200 SE 128MB:

or ASUS A9250GE/TD/256M:

or NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 4000:

Thank you!

Performance wise ... Asus, because of 128-bit memory interface. Not sure about 3D Studio Max though. I guess GeForce2 era Quadro would better suit that scenario.

And by the way; if a game requires DirectX 9.0b compatible video card, does it run on a DirectX 8.0/8.1 card as well?
