Just messing around with some kind of clone or stripped down Jetway J-620BF socket 370 board that came with a Via C3 550Mhz CPU. Should I be able to swap in a Celeron 700MHz cpu? I’ve got one kicking around and it’s got to be leagues better than the Cyrix.

M3? If you have one of those, you have unreleased unobtainium. If it's a regular Via C3, then it's already an FC-PGA CPU, so FC-PGA Celeron should be able to work. Only BIOS restrictions might be a problem, but Jetway's hardly one for that.

Lol yes sorry it’s just a VIA Cyrix III. An M3 would have been a hell of a find. I’ve corrected the first post. I’ll try updating the bios later.
