The motherboard works wonderfully but if i cut off the power the bios settings go back to default, i changed the battery 3 times already and the pins are set correctly.

So the Clear CMOS jumper is set into position 2-3 (Normal), isn't it ?

Absolutely, i checked way too many times, somehow the motherboard behaves as if the battery is not inserted.

If you have a multimeter (voltmeter mode) then you may measure voltage of cmos-battery after a diode. The diode is circled green on the picture. In fact it's BAT54CW - two diodes schottky in sot-323 package: the one conducts current +3.3v standby, the second conducts current CMOS-BAT. Red point is where to measure voltage relatively to GND RAIL. The board should be turned off completely (power cord is unplugged), cmos-battery is inserted.

I had to ask first: did you change them because they were flat or just in case? Did you measure voltage of those batteries after the change?
