Hello everyone, I have an old Pentium motherboard with one of the RTC module’s pads lifted. I cannot remove the socket and I want to jump the missing pad to the correct pin but I cannot find any schematics anywhere.
The missing pad is the AD3 Data pin according to the Dallas RTC module Datasheet.
Thanks in advance!

The ODIN and the Dallas modules are pin compatible. AD3 is connected to the 3rd data bit (just disregard the "A" in the pin name for PC usage) of some ISA-like bus. Some boards have a "slow onboard component bus" separated from the ISA bus, called "X-bus". Usually, the keyboard controller sits on the same bus as the Dallas/ODIN, so check whether D2 and D4 of the keyboard controller are connected to the corresponding AD pins of the RTC, and if so, you can add a bodge wire from KBC D3 to RTC AD3.
