This is a long shot, but i've got a Gateway 2000 486 sx-33 here that is on the orignal Phoenix Bios 1.1 (Anigma board, Opti chipset, lp486i2)

https://web.archive.org/web/20000313003000/ht … bios/m4hs50.htm

I see *someone* did a bios update for it in the 90s, but finding a disk image is proving impossible. I just want the system to be able to properly handle my PnP cards, and possibly run a hard drive over 500MB without overlay software to help with system stability, and *maybe* help these pathetic 35MB/sec memory speeds a bit (although I just assume Anigma boards had bad QA)

I've tried the stock 33Mhz SX processor,Overdrive 100MHz, and PNY QuickChip 133Mhz... and this is by far the worst performing 486 system i've ever dealt with.

Just curios if anyone managed to get images of this bios after this company went defunct?

I'm just debating if I should be trying to find another system, or just live with how awful this thing performs.
