I have an ASUS EAX550GE/TD/256M/A (Radeon X550) with 7-pin S-Video output, I have it installed with Windows 98 and XP, it's practically the PCIe version of an R9550. Does anyone know if it supports component video output (YPBPR)? The documentation for it is non-existent and there is no way to find out just by checking the number of pins.

It should, but you probably will need proper VIVO-style adapter.
Also, 720p may be the limit.

7 pin connector like that should have YPbPr capability with the right breakout cable.
