Hello friends,

I am having a hard time to find a way to flash a bad Dip24 bios chip of a PcChips M577.
The former user messed up with bios update and the only way to fix is to flash it externally.
I searched for an adapter for my ch341a programmer with no luck.

Any advice?

Searching for PcChips M577 it appears to have a 32pin EEPROM.
If you have another board with the same EEPROM socket you should be able to hotflash the EEPROM from the PcChips M577 using UniFlash 1.40.👍

Ok Dip32.
Sorry!
I have no other board, guess I should search for one super cheap and use it as a flasher?

No worries, I wasn't sure if there was another revision with a different EEPROM or simply a misunderstanding.😅
Using a different mainboard to hotflash is probably the cheapest option but not necessarily the most convenient. I don't have a programmer myself and used that method a lot so I'd say go for it!😎👌

My other dip32 board is a GA-586DX…

Really have to be super sure I won’t damage it or I will kill myself!

I recommend you losen the EEPROM before so it barely makes contact and put a cable tie around it to pull it out of the socket with.
