I'm setting up 486 DX33 PC with FIC 486-GIO-VT motherboard and ATI Mach32 GR Wonder (EXM229) 1MB VESA card.
I'm not well versed with VESA video modes, but my guess is that my graphics card doesn't support some (all?) of them.
I tried running PC Player Benchmark at 640x480 and got an error that VESA Mode 100 is not initialized.
I tried running Chris 3D Benchmark at 640x480 and got an error "Error setting graphics mode. Resolution not supported".
I installed UNIVBE 6.53. uvconfig.exe detected my card and configured VBE 3.0, 2.0 and linear framebuffer at 100MB. Then I run univbe.exe which confirms VBE 2.0 and 3.0 support is on. Then I run vbetest.exe and get error "CauseWay error 11 : DOS reported an error or corrupt file found."
I downloaded various Mach32 drivers, but can't find any DOS Vesa utilities/drivers.
Any advice how to troubleshoot/fix?
Attaching picture of the Mach32.
Thank you.
