VOGONS

So, I have a Voodoo Rush card that I bought recently. It has very little visible physical damage, and at least as far as I can tell, there aren't any cracked solder joints on the AT3D responsible for the 2D component of the card. However, 2D output is very clearly corrupted, and on most boards will prevent the motherboard from finishing its POST.

On certain boards, I can very occasionally get all the way into DOS/Windows 98, where I was able to run a video memory diagnostic program that confirmed that there is at least something wrong with said video memory.

So far, I haven't been able to do any testing of the Voodoo parts of the card in due part to the system often crashing if it's able to get past POST at all.

Does anyone have any advice on what I could do? I'm waiting on a pack of fine-tip Pinecil soldering iron tips to arrive for a different repair project, and I don't have very much experience with very fine pitch SMD rework.
