I bought a Cyrix Fasmath 33 FPU just for fun but for some reason, the board doesn't like it.
I tried it some time ago but today I revisited the machine again. The first time I installed it,the machine went as far as the 'information screen' before DOS loads but then froze.
Subsequent reboots result in freezing after the memory count.
According to the Retro Web, this FPU is compatible and I see no jumpers on the board associated with it.
Putting it in another board,it gets detected and doesn't let the board hang (this was a Soyo board).

Any ideas? Don't want to spend a lot of time on this issue 😀

It's a CX-83D87-33-GP.
The CPU is an Intel 386 DX-33.
I'm having a back issue ATM so getting it back from storage is a no-go. I think the oscillator is 66MHz. Haven't removed the TAG chips yet.
