I just want to ask which settings on my board are needed to setup the X5 CPU correctly? Currently I have an Intel DX4-100 and the User manual
give me no information about the X5 (but I should be possible because I have seen already this board / CPU combination)?!

Looks like the BIOS does not have proper support for Am5x86 class CPUs. Had to use the simple interposer from this and this posts to enforce L1 WB and 4x multiplier.

GA-486AM/S runs AMD 5x86-133 just fine - maybe depends on the revision. I tested on rev 2.20 and 2.21.

It's a rev 2.21 but which jumper settings do I need for that CPU? (User Manual has no information about that)

Thank you @kixs, but first I need to update my BIOS. Do you know how can I program that SST PH29EE010 chip with the TL866II PLUS, or do I need another programmer?

You have to select SST39SF010A in Xgpro (TL866II Plus).
What BIOS version do you have?
Someone else should help you with reprogramming... I don't have any programming hardware or knowledge for that matter 🙁
