Hello,
i need a BIOS file for this ECS OEM Board. Unfortunately the only Link i found in an old HEXUS Forum Post was dead. I tried Webarchive.com on this link but it failed.
According to some Changelogs on BIOS Versions for a other ECS KT600 Mainboard (KT600-A) some of the issues (BIOS CheckSum:A000h 1.Fixed Seagate HDD install Windows98 will be show user.exe error)i had could be fixed with a newer Bios Version.
Maybe someone here das copy of this Biosfile. I already wrote a message to the ECS Support without an answer to my request, maybe they also have no copy of this file.

So the board is an OEM for Advent/Medion...sold thru PC World magazine???

From the look of it, it's very close to an ECS KT600-A .... same specs etc etc. I probably wonder if the 'A' was standard ATX, and 'M' being mini-ATX.... it's what it seems to me (and maybe why that model isn't listed on the ECS website, as it's just a refactored KT600-A )

Can you post your current BIOS and a better picture of the board ?

No, not the magazine! ...this lot - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PC_World_(retailer) - Advent was the parent group computer brand (distinctly cheap'n'cheerful) with quite awful support.

Here in my location the PC equiped with this Mainboard was sold by a grocery store (Discounter Style) named NORMA 😀 The Name for that PC was Norma Dreamsys EX 7022 DE
Unfortunately i tried to flash the KT600-A Bios, which lead to a Blackscreen and no POST or other lifesigns = bricked *LOL*. The Specs of the Board looks similar, but it seems this wasn't similar enough.... 😉
I have ordered a PLCC Adapter for my TL866CS i will try to reflash the BIOS Backup i made. The only GOOD feature (so far) of this Mainboard is that the BIOS Flashchip is in a socket.

After i had flashed the backup BIOS the Motherboard works again. I'm in a eperimental mood, will try another cheap ECS M-ATX Board (KM400-M )which i bought yesterday 😉 For this Mainboard ECS offers some BIOS downloads 😀
Despite this it, i hope someone have Biosfile for my KT600 Board. The behavior of this Mobo with HDDs are a pain......
