Hello guys,

Hope you are all ok and having Happy holidays.

I have a MX400 pci and I would like to use the sb link stated in the manual as J8... but i realized that it has only four pins.
Is there any way to find the pinout to make a cable to match the typical sb link pinout?

I attached a picture where the left connector isn the MX400

BTW is there any way to configure the dos app?

Kind regards and greetings from Chile

Standard pinout on the motherboard is this: https://www.old-games.ru/forum/blogs/kabel-sb-link.5403/
Your sound card: you can find the ground pin with a digi meter, then you need to try and trace out 3 other pins. I cannot find a datasheet for the ES1970S that most images show for that sound card.

Hate posting a reply and then have to edit it because it made no sense 😁 First computer was an IBM 3270 workstation with CGA monitor. Stuff: https://archive.org/details/@horun

I dont know how much different the 'ES1992 Canyon3D 2' is but you can find the pinouts of those.

ES1990S and ES1992S has PC/PCI request output on pin 51 and PC/PCI grant input on pin 61 and Digital ground on pins 3, 21, 40, 89
