I've had an Olivetti M240 for some time but only now started to restore it.

The PSU was broken so I've modified an ATX PSU in order to be able to use for testing the M240.

When I have all the connections to the ATX PSU, the PSU won't start. If I disconnect the connections to the 12V and -12V on the secondary motherboard (the one with the ISA slots) the PSU works and the computer starts to boot. The HD starts working and the diskette drive also tries to read. All the leds show activity.

There is no video because, if I'm not wrong, the graphics card needs the 12v on the ISA bus/slot. The HD seems to work but surely it won't de accessible because de HD controller won't be working because the lack of the 12V/-12V.

I've just begun my tests, but those anyone have any idea on what might be wrong?

I found the problem with the 12V rail. The Graphics Card was the cause. It must have some short in it.

I swapped it with another CGA card (ATI Small Wonder) and now I have picture but the computer still won't boot.

I only get a blinking cursor on the top left and nothing more.
