I could not resist and ordered this beauty:

pOrGuue.jpeg

https://www.ebay.com/itm/276284606622

It's made by Everex but seems like only for the internal use. Cannot be found by FCC ID, seems like they didn't even bother to apply. Probably engineering sample of something like this.

Memory is presented by 16 ZIP24 pins. If it's 64Kx4 it has 512KB of memory. Year 1991.

It has 2 9 pin connectors but it seems like most of the early VGA cards and 8514/A and IBM PCG had this type of connector supporting analog signal. So one is probably for CGA/EGA analog emulation and another one is CGA/EGA.

Still have to wait for two weeks or more - there is no direct delivery to Ukraine on eBay.

Any suggestions what could it be? There were Everecs PEGA - clone of IBM PCG - it had the same VRAM chips but only one output and no daughterboards. But 1991 is quite late for that type of cards. It's pre-era of dedicated hardware accelerators - at least 8514/A. On the other hand, I see 40-pins connector on the back of the card - that could be 8086.

It’s a Targa RGBS video capture video card combo.

For capture It’s compatible with Sony video scanners , Kodak Flashsync ccd4000 cameras and could capture Amiga video.

Output it works on a multitude of 15khz Magnavox Amiga monitors.

I don’t think it has a video bios so good luck finding software/drivers for it.

Good luck with that, I’ve been looking for working drivers/software for a decade
despite there being thousands of High end proprietary products designed to use the targa video products they were mostly tied to a copy protection dongle and low volume. (Medical, dental, labs, studios, vintage digitizers, etc)

I’m aware of the CASI COLORTRON 3400 Bios photography computer using the card with proprietary software.

Yeah Interesting ! In the Everex archives are stuff going back to 1986. In that archive under "VISION TECHNOLOGIES" http://web.archive.org/web/19961104093644fw_/ … ib/vidvist.html
Found this: "DL-ev_680.ZIP Setup and Testing software for EV-680 vision 16 frame grabber board. 04-04-90 610,75" (file name ev680.ZIP ) and
"DL-SLIDE16.EXE Slide effects software for Vision 16 EV-680. 12-20-91 92,451" (slide16.exe)
The was also an EV-681 "Ev-681 Vision Frame Grabber board" (ev681set.zip)
but all files were on ftp ...........

Hate posting a reply and then have to edit it because it made no sense 😁 First computer was an IBM 3270 workstation with CGA monitor. Stuff: https://archive.org/details/@horun

Thank you for your help, guys, I will start digging again.

It's a wild hunt, I cannot reach a few people known to had at least Targa 16. I suppose they were compatible.
