So, I'm building up a gateway E-1400 that I recently picked up. My choices for GPU are:
1. Voodoo 3 2000/3000 (AGP)
2. Geforce SDR (AGP)
3. Geforce FX 5200 128-bit (PCI)
Because the motherboard/case are NLX form factor my AGP options are limited. As far as I'm aware the Geforce SDR was the fastest card ever made for the NLX. There are lots of Matrox G400s and ATi Rage128 Pros as well. Obviously anything PCI would work although I already have some FX 5200s and 5500s on hand. I think the Geforce SDR is probably the most period correct of the options? I'm not even sure if an fx5200 would even outperform the Geforce SDR.
Thoughts?
