Any 27c010 EEPROM would work (128kB), 28 pins that is.
i386 16 ⇒ i486 DX4 100 ⇒ Pentium MMX 200 ⇒ Athlon Orion 700 | TB 1000 ⇒ AthlonXP 1700+ ⇒ Opteron 165 ⇒ Dual Opteron 856
Thx for the answer, but it seems i don't have one...
Also the socket is 32-pin.
Would any of these work?
A290021T
W29C020C
SST29EE020
W49F002U
W29C011_EP
About any listed will work, as long as you enter this command while at a DOS prompt before flashing:
"copy /b bios.bin+bios.bin BX6_2M.bin" - where bios.bin is your original 128KB BIOS file.
The reason is simple - you have a 128KB BIOS, and you only have 256KB ROMs.
To flash a smaller BIOS on a bigger flash, just use the copy /b function, calculating how many times you'd need the BIOS image copied in order to fill the BIOS chip.
In your case, being a 256KB chip, you just have to copy it twice. For a 512K BIOS chip you'd have to copy the same file 4 times.

The w29C011 is a 1Mbit 5v eeprom so should work just fine. You would need to use a programmer like TL866.
Hate posting a reply and then have to edit it because it made no sense 😁 First computer was an IBM 3270 workstation with CGA monitor. Stuff: https://archive.org/details/@horun
So I discovered that the card is a BX6 2.0 because of the location of the ATX power-connector.
I used my T48 to flash the W29C011 with the QR bios.
But the motherboard was dead, my pci diagnostic card showed no life.
So dos the rev 2.0 use a different bios or what could be wrong, all other parts I use are tested ok.
Solved, used the SST29EE020 rom.
