Does such a thing exist?
I am extremely curious about sound cards. A few months ago for the first time i saw LAPC-I , it looks amazing!

Does any one know a list of popular sound cards and place where i can read about what made each card stand out and stuff? Im really interested into the whole ISA sound card scene.

Im interested into LAPC - I and how compatible is my gravis MAX with MT-32
Also i found some Oak tech Mozzard 16 cards on flea markets and stuff. I like sound.

The LAPC-I (or the CM-32L) is really a one of a kind device. MT-32 emulation is a difficult issue. To compare to my LAPC-I, I have GUS cards and an Orchid Soundwave 32. I prefer the Orchid mt-32 mode. I have read on a synth forum that the closest LAPC-I emu (so far, next to munt) is a Yamaha soft synth with some plugins and LAPC-I rom dumps... have not tried that yet.
