Best damned ball mouse ever made, and the buttons are super-easy to push and sensitive :) I've NEVER "felt" another mouse (even the newfangled high-end gaming mice) where the buttons felt as comfortable :)
I have also been using a 3-button Logitech Mouseman mouse continually since 1998. It came with my Dell Precision Workstation 410 (dual PII-400). In the PS/2 format, it is also known as the Logitech MouseMan M-S38. Best mouse I've ever used. They were branded by Logitech, Dell, and Compaq. I also have the mouse in the serial form factor, as well as the hybrid serial-PS/2 form. The hybrid version is good for use with laptops because of the short ps/2 cable. When I needed to use a laptop which didn't have serial or ps/2 ports, I used a PCMCIA serial port card and was happy as can be. Attached is a google-acquired photo of the serial version next to the hybrid.
This is the only mouse I ever use, even today.
