Hello everybody

In my never ending quest for happiness through retro frankensteining, I relized what I really wanted (and perhaps needed) is a motherboard like this:

- Slot 1
- 100 MHz FSB
- AGP x4
- VIA chipset
- 2x ISA slots
- 2x PCI slots (minimum)
- No video or audio

I've been looking all over the net and couldn't find any specific brand/model.

Can you put a name on that face and help me out please?

Why do you want a VIA chipset though? I would strongly advise to go 440BX, especially since you just want 100 MHz FSB anyway...

Edit: just saw that it has integrated sound which can only be disabled through Windows 🙁

I want a VIA chipset because of Throttle. Throttle has 16 steps on VIA chipsets instead of the typical 8 on Intel platforms.

Audio is not terribly important... but only if it can be disabled in BIOS. Integrated video is a no-no though ^^

Closest I found is VT6X4 - ABIT but has onboard sound as far as I can see.

Via 694x = 4x AGP. What kind of videocard are you running?

Either a GeForce 3 or a Savage4 Extreme, didn't make my mind yet.

That motherboard could fit the bill, from what I see audio can be disabled in BIOS.

Shuttle AV64 is another option. No onboard devices.
