I went to the sorting center today and picked up three complete systems along with two ATX socket 7 moterboards (ASUS SP97-VX and MSI MS5172). Also got two AGP video cards, an ATI 9200 and a KYRO II STG4500. I got all of this literally from the dumpster...
First system is an AMD 386SX-25, 2MB RAM, defective hard drive, hercules video
Second system is a Pentium 120, VX motherboard, HOUSTON battery/RTC..
Third system is a Cyrix 486DX2, 20MB RAM, defective hard drive, Yamaha OPL sound card, S3 VLB VGA, VLB IDE controller...
Everything works except for the hard drives. The 486 system has a leaky barrel battery - need to take care of that.
How do you clean up the damage?
