One of these things is not normal. Can you spot abnormalities?

okay... so most of you will instantly know whats up. if you want the low down read on to end of the end of the page from here: http://www.overclock.net/t/293448/the-socket- … 0#post_22371278

EDIT:

1ghz over stock on air, which alone is pretty insane. also 8gb of ram which is even more insane and is first. they do not sell DDR1 NON ECC/REG 2gb sticks. As it turns out some board make PROPER use of the 939 platform which apparently DOES support ECC. this isn't a first an AMD platform it's said the old XP Barton cores had temp sensors but, no body made use of it.

Any ways people have tried 2gb ECC sticks in the past with no post so it's pretty amazing to see a setup that did work. i'll be grabbing a an 8gb set for my 939 rig as well in the near future.

That's all pretty note worthy and never before seen by most. After all this is socket 939 not AM2.

Sorry for the mobile link.

It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.

Ah, I was referring to non-ECC DIMMs, for the common folk (like me). I see the widespread appeal in dualcore S939. It has some sort of a "still fast enough" legacy feel.
