Were there any of these that were partiularly worth having? I am dimly recalling that there were a few models way back but that the PCI based boards were better due to superior bandwidth.

Movie Toaster? That's one I've never heard of before. I think there was one made by Reveal and I think ATI may have made one at one point, but can't remember for sure. I'll have to see if I can find anything about a Movie Toaster.

I'd guess that video capture cards back in the pre-PCI days were very expensive? That could be a reason why I never seen many of them (I can't even remember ever having seen an ISA video capture card in the early PCI days)

The chips on that card seem to be simular to the ones on my Pinnacle dc10plus PCI MJPEG capture card.

New PC: i9 12900K @5GHz all cores @1.2v. MSI PRO Z690-A. 32GB DDR4 3600 CL14. 3070Ti.
Old PC: Dual Xeon X5690@4.6GHz, EVGA SR-2, 48GB DDR3R@2000MHz, Intel X25-M. GTX 980ti.
Older PC: K6-3+ 400@600MHz, PC-Chips M577, 256MB SDRAM, AWE64, Voodoo Banshee.
