No they don't. They support S3 Metal instead.
The faster Virge models and Trio3D chips can make S3D run better, but they also vary in compatibility. It's an annoying mess really. 😀

You can run it on ATI Rage Pro and PowerVR PCX2 as well. Both are rather interesting. The PowerVR version has fogging effects that are great.
And the Voodoo version can run flawlessly through a Glide wrapper.
The Rage Pro also has strange compatibility issues with ATI3DCIF throughout driver/model variance in the Rage series, and the Rage128 doesn't do it at all.
And no the later PowerVR KYRO cards can't run the SGL version either. Not sure on Tuxality's wrapper status on supporting Mech2 however
