I need to load this MSDOS driver to get general midi to work under MSDOS mode with my sound card, ESS Audiodrive 1878. However, all links I've found through google and through this website are either malicious, dead links, or a set of multiple floppy disk installation images (I only have one 1.44mb floppy to my name.) Could someone please upload and provide to me WSSXLAT.EXE so I can finally get general midi to work? I assume, and hope this is all I need. Thank you.

Also, I do apologize for technically making this new topic about an issue I've had before, but this one is a little bit more specific than the previous. I hope that's okay.

When you able to download a set of diskimages, extract those on you local PC and look if the file is there. To extract you could use winimage.

If you want to see and extract the full disk sets, just use 7-ZIP, it can open IMA/IMZ floppy disk images natively.

Thank you for the link! However, even after loading the file in my Config.sys, DOS games still do not detect the MPU-401. Is there a specific way I need to do this?
