I have a 486 Pentium Overdrive 66MHz with 8MB Simm (4x2) Gateway 2000 4SX-33 desktop and I've tried all the 72 pin simms I have to upgrade with and nothing but the original ram sticks work. Has anyone had similar experiences with these systems?

It's not a gateway but my 486 was always very picky on RAM
Has to be Parity and cant be EDO, only FP and 8MB sticks don't work
