Greetings,

I've recently been given an old Lifebook C2220 laptop and I've been working on restoring it as a classic gaming machine.

The bottom of the LCD panel has a white bar distortion and I'm trying to determine if this is an issue with the LCD panel, connectors, or inverter perhaps. Can anyone share some insight?

System specs for those curious:

CPU: Pentium 4m 2.2ghz
RAM: 256mb DDR Soldered + 256mb DDR expansion PC3200
LCD: 15" XGA TFT
IGP: AGP - ATI Radeon IGP340M
HDD: 30gb IDE 4200rpm
OS: Currently Win98 SE plus unofficial SP2 + USB drivers etc
