Or use a dx supported driver. But guess what! They're buggy as hell.

I personally prefer kool smokys drivers. But fast voodoo is ok too, just older.

Thx. I was not sure about this, but I only want glide, D3D is just fine with the NV6200, but I get no glide at all.

Well, steps for P4 + Voodoo2 SLI + WinXpSp3 in my case:
1) Install Voodoo2 W2k 1.02.00 drivers through Device Manager (update driver, have disc, voodoo2.inf etc). Twice.
2) Change the startup type for 3 Voodoo2 services (fxgpio, fxcpl, ntremap) to "System". Device Manager, "show hidden devices", "non-PnP devices drivers", "Voodoo2 PCI I/O" | "Voodoo2 Memory Mapper" | "Voodoo2 Board Remapper". Or HKLM\ Control\ CurrentControlSet\ Services\ ...\ Start="1".
Another way is to edit Voodoo2.inf itself.
So - you have glide and ogl (not added to HKLM\Software\WindowsNT\OpenGLDrivers so only limited number of games will use it).
If you get the "... expected Voodoo^2, none detected" message then your Voodoo2 is faulty. It can be fixed with "remove / insert thes Voodoo2 from / to the PCI slot" but this is the temporaly solution...
P.S. The same method have worked with C2D E8400 / Q45 Express...
Asus P4P800 SE/Pentium4 3.2E/2 Gb DDR400B,
Radeon HD3850 Agp (Sapphire), Catalyst 14.4 (XpProSp3).
Voodoo2 12 MB SLI, Win2k drivers 1.02.00 (XpProSp3).
I used only one Voodoo2 and it WORKS! Don't know why, every driver seems to work properly.
I think it's a SLI problem, or one of my (identical) Voodoo2's are broken; I will test this today.

Test both cards by them selves. if both cards work alone then maybe its the SLI cable or a device conflict.
One card does not get warm, it's defect. I can't determine what the Problem with this Voodoo2-Card is.

I use the other Voodoo2 instead and it works perfect in theis system. Thx.
