1. Make the title of your thread actually indicative of what lies within.
2. More pictures than simply top-down. We'll need pics of the front and back as well to help you.
3. Use your brain a little. Put down everything you know and don't know, so we know where to start.

Looks like a 386, has a network card, a hdd controller and probably an ET3000 (think I spot a lot of crystals)

Don't eat stuff off a 15 year old never cleaned cpu cooler.
Those cakes make you sick....

Definitely a 286/386 class PC, judging from that AMI BIOS chip and the barrel battery.

BTW, that blue barrel battery on the board should be removed ASAP if you plan to use it somehow. Also requesting pics of the cards and the case?

It's a XT/AT-class PC. If you don't know what to do with this. You should ask yourself first. Do you want to learn something about old computrers. First familiar yourself with all parts befor you plug it into electricity. Try to identify each part of that system

I don't think I will turn it in a grill since I already have one, and no hamsters. Any other ideas?

It's a computer
It's old.

You can connect a display and keyboard to it and it may work.

There is a remote chance of catastrophic failure like explosion

You can wipe your ass with it and get lead poisoning

You can eat it and get lead poisoning

You can set fire to it and get poisoned through other chemicals

You can put DOS, games, and cool programs on it and use it as a gaming rig.

I suggest the last option, but to each his own.

Probably a serial/parallel card.

Video card with a Tseng ET3000ax chip.

Looks like a controller card with 34-pin connectors for both hard drive and floppy drive.
The 20-pin DR1 and DR2 connectors could also be for hard drives.
Going by your picture, three of them are plugged into things, but except for the floppy drive I can't see where the cables are connected.

Counterweight for trebuchet.

Ammunition for trebuchet.

Run things that you could probably run much more easily in DOSBox.

MFM controller by the looks of it, making this a 286 aka AT class as Godlike said. Two of the ribbon cables go to the hard drive from what I understand. A 286 will play lots of EGA and early VGA games nicely. You don't even need a sound card, as most games of this era only utilised the PC speaker e.g. Duke Nukem.

Will it blend?

But seriously, it's a 386SX class machine, going by the AMI BIOS chip which says 386SX, and the AMD chip on the motherboard under the cables in your first pic. The cards are all older so it's probably an AT/286 computer that's been upgraded. Be interesting to know what hard disk it has in it, and it's got a 5.25" drive visible so that's nice to have. Overall it's useful for a wide range of DOS games from the early 90s, and Windows 3/3.1. If it's booting that's great news, but you'll need to de-solder that barrel battery to avoid future damage.

Just as I suspected. ET3000 card and 386.
If it is working, then get a IDE solution, audician32 and use it for an early MS Dos gaming machine.

It's a very old, very ugly and very slow computer that almost nobody wants or likes.
