I got this motherboard a while back, it seemed like a pretty reasonable VT694X-based Socket 370 motherboard. Little would I know that the the BIOS was so catastrophically locked down, you couldn't set AGP4X mode or even PIO/UDMA modes. You also couldn't manually allocate IRQs and DMAs for stuff. BCM's latest BIOS is the same locked-down piece of junk the board came with.

So I had at it with modbin6, and re-enabled all the stuff that GVC/BCM disabled. I even took the liberty to set the useless CMR/AMR 'onchip modem' slot to disabled by default. Last but not least, you can also set the FSB/DRAM clock ratios too (though apparently you have to set some jumpers on the board to tell the board to run at a particular FSB speed).

While I've tested this out on my system and it seems to work well enough, use this at your own risk, I assume no responsibility for anything unforeseen happening.

Life isn't long enough to re-enable every hidden option in every BIOS on every board... 🙁
