HI All,

I need your opinion/advice...
I found this on..:-
https://www.lelong.com.my/hp-pavilion-4509-am … 7-01-Sale-I.htm

I did a google search, but I couldn't find any information regarding this Motherboard Chipset / Number of PCI / AGP?

So, I guess it is a AMD K6-2 Motherboard.

Any idea what motherboard this is? Can we change the multiplier via software like SetMul, to play older games? This should be DOS compatible, right? 😕 😕
Appreciate your help on this.

(I did reach out the seller, he has no "RETRO" clue about his.. 🤣... ) 😵

My family had an HP Pavilion 4530 when I was growing up. Same model line, exact same form factor, and I would guess most likely the same motherboard (Ours had a K6-2 350). IF it is the same motherboard, then it'll have three PCI slots, one ISA slot, and no AGP slot. I don't recall what chipset it had though. I can't guarantee it is the same motherboard though, so don't take my word as fact.

I think it uses a ASUS branded HP OEM micro ATX board with a SiS chipset, i got one from ebay but it was DoA, was dead as a doornail, broken traces everywhere on the back, had to get a refund from seller.

Thanks all..

Yes, 3 PCI, 1 ISA, no AGP - You are right! (See attached).

I decided not to buy... I'm looking for AMD-K6 with AGP.. 😀 TQ! 😀

Yeah, even if it had been a different motherboard, it would have surprised me if it had an AGP slot because I highly doubt an AGP card could even fit in that case. It is VERY small...not low-profile, but it is significantly shorter front to back than typical ATX cases. Also, IIRC the power supply hangs down vertically over the area of the motherboard where an AGP slot would go.

you can use 3dfx voodoo cards but those are hard to find these days.
