So I got this MB basically for a song since it had tons of ruined caps.
Replaced em all and the board sprang to life again.
It's a later revision ver 1.2 ish with 1MB cache.
Been playing around with it for a few weeks now and finding its quirks (mostly RTFM from my part).
And its been 100% stable at whatever i've thrown at it (various CPU's and mem configs).

But heres the thing, the second i replaced the Voodoo3 card I had in it with something else (doesnt seem to matter with what) i just cannot get anything 3D to work properly !
Tried various ATI's and nVidias from TNT2 to FX series.
It doesnt crash, its just that 3D is hilariously slow, like one frame every 5 seconds.
The OS is Win2k (SP4), and i've tried a complete reinstall OFC.
VIA's 4in1 and Hyperions install just fine, but doesnt change anything.

Never did the Super Socket 7 back in the day so I'm not sure if i'm missing something obvious here.

thats the clue, try W98
Voodoo3 might go into AGP slot, but it is not an AGP card per se (works like fast PCI)

So the problem seems to be sorted.
Tho don't ask me what did it =/

Still, its nice knowing its not a hardware problem.
Been playing with it a few days now with lots of different CPU's and its all fine =)
I now know that my K6-2+ 500 will do 600MHz at +0.1v.
And my K6-3 400 does 500MHz at +0.2v.
Also. none of my P55C's will do 300MHz, wich is not a huge suprise tho =)

All in all it seems to be a very good board !
I'm happy i took the time repairing it.

And I might aswell share the data from all my testing:
