keep in mind the Dell OEM boards of that time (Pentium II and Pentium III) are known for having propietary power pinout and needing the aux connector to work, this SE440BX-3 is one of them

I intend to install a new firmware on the Goteks, FlashFloppy (https://github.com/keirf/FlashFloppy). The USB thingie on the right is a USB-TTL adapter to flash the firmware. More info here: https://github.com/keirf/FlashFloppy/wiki/Fir … are-Programming . Another option is the HxC firmware http://hxc2001.free.fr/floppy_drive_emulator/ … irmwareForGotek One thing this does is simplify the method of putting the floppy images on the USB stick, just put the images on there instead of using that awful tool.
The other things are 0.91" 128x32 OLED screens to replace the 7/8 segment displays. More information here: https://github.com/keirf/FlashFloppy/wiki/Hardware-Mods
The USB TTL adapter was about $1.50 on eBay, the OLED screens are around $2.50.

I bought these two lovely boards,while I was looking for a P5A (non B)
AMD K6-2 400 and 450 was included along with two 64mb PC100 modules.
I really appreciate the fact that there exists ATX socket 7 form factor boards.
ASUS P5A-B
Gigabyte GA-5AX

@appiah4 I am sure you will, persistence is key. I also have a couple of goals that are unlikely to acquire for a reasonable price and one I am not sure that I will ever find

Aztech Sound Galaxy Pro 16 (Extra) (Boxed)
Picked up this as I kinda liked that "nerdiness" on the box cover art. Besides, I have not seen many boxed Aztech cards recently and Sound Blaster Pro compatibility is never a bad thing.

@Carlos S. M. ; appreciate the heads-up, but luckily I've been making my own ATX/AUX adapter cables for these quirky Dell boards for a number of years. Thx 😁

Ok, now you have to share with us the secrets of this sorcery because goddamnit I have a Dell Optiplex SFF that apparently has a busted PSU (won't power up - fans spin for a moment then stop..)

I'm only talking about Dell boards with the oddly wired 20 pin ATX + 6 pin AUX connectors - is that what your OptiPlex SFF has? If it's one of the other ones with a "mini" 24 pin ATX, you can buy adapters for them too.

Very nice. I have a boxed one as well but, sadly, mine is missing the manuals.
Only downside of this particular model is that it has reverse stereo output.

Available on Aztech's FTP site and Vogonsdrivers - search for I38-MMSN812.
No CD's bundled with this sound card (early days before CD's were common).

Yeah I read you can also use a USB-A to USB-A cable (which I also did not have) 😀

Not really purchased, but after helping my mom clean her house this morning we found a box with some computer parts and she let me keep them. I scored the following:
* HP CD-Writer Plus from 1998
* HL CD-RW from 2004
* ADS 2-port USB PCI card
* Diamond Monster Fusion (16MB AGP Voodoo Banshee)
* 16MB Voodoo3 2000 PCI
* I/O Magic MagicWave V1 PCI (Aureal Vortex)
