Hi guys, long time lurker first time poster. Hoping someone here has some experience with the M507 board, I just got some memory in from eBay, and its description is as follows:

2x 64MB 72-pin 60ns EDO Non-Parity SIMM Memory 128MB 3.3V 5V 16Mx32 PC RAM

When I stick it in slots one and two (closest to the top of the board) it only reports 32MB of total memory on POST, and the system wont even boot if I move the modules to other slots, or if I only have one installed instead of two.

Does someone know what's going on here?

I don't think that board supports 64MB sticks, 32MB is the maximum. I have an M507 and have been able to max the RAM to 128MB with 4x 32MB sticks.

But you have to remember that with L2 cache, that board's chipset cannot cache memory above 64MB anyway. So if you go above 64MB, you're going to lose performance. If you don't have a COAST module installed on there, then you have no L2 cache and could indeed upgrade to 128MB without any further performance loss.
