Hi all, does anyone know what this card is or what it does?

The only markings are "CED 1401 10 G 241" (the latter three digits hand-written) and "IGAV" which is presumably the PCB (not card) manufacturer.

It has a 3.6 V embedded battery which is not removable

There is a male DC-37 connector on the I/O bracket.

Chips include D8253C-5 Programmable Interval Timer.

(I don't know why the expanded images are upside down or rotated.)

Show us the connector.

There's a glitch in the matrix.

This is 8-bit data aquisition device or (more likely) interface for connecting one to the PC - usually used for specific purposes in industry or science. I like how it has provisions for installing your own THT components.

Edit: Pretty likely it's internal card interface for one of those: https://www.labmerchant.com/cambridge-electro … quisition-unit/ (CED 1401 line of products dates back to 1983, I work for a thermonuclear research institute and I've seen devices like this in use).

Good find, it's got the same DC-37 connector on it. That must be what it's for.
