I have a strange problem with my Gigabyte GA-6OXT board - it can't run at any FSB speed other than the default for a given CPU. I tried a P3 550E and a P3 600EB. In both cases I can adjust the FSB in the BIOS but it doesn't take effect, and only runs at default speed. The memory divider setting also doesn't take effect, and only runs at the default speed. Anyone else with the same board having the same problem? I'm already using the latest F8 bios, and tried earlier F6 and F7 bios versions, but it makes no difference.

Could a jumper be to blame?
I don't know about this board but some boards have a jumper setting that prevents the FSB clock from being modified in the BIOS.
