Hi,
I found a IBM 466DX2/SP type 6472-LV1. The first time to poweron on video I got error "161 bad cmos battery".

I tried to replace with new CMOS battery CR2032 but obtain same output after power off/ wait 2 minutes/ power on.
I tested with tester and the battery it's OK.
I tried to remove battery for 10 minutes but when I insered and power on the computer obtained same error messages, 161 bad cmos battery.
The mainboard seems to be OK because is clean and there aren't any corrosion or acid.
Please, can I try?

I'm sorry...I used a bad tester e new battery was dead. I bought another battery and now it's ok 😊

i replaced the battery with another one.
