I have the manual for my P4B-M motherboard but updating the BIOS looks rather complicated to me, I need to update it in order for a processor to work. Does anyone have a link to a good guide on how to update old BIOS'?

Asus have been kind enough to still have the motherboard's manual available, and it covers BIOS updates as well. https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/sock478 … -m/p4bm-102.pdf
Asus used Aflash on most of their motherboards, this should be the version you'll need: https://driverscollection.com/_44016420 ... r-DOS-free

In case you haven't already found it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0BPmNHC3YFY
I've been found a single edged razor blade to be the best thing for bent pins - combined with a steady hand, good light, and maybe some magnification.

Thanks man, didn't end up working anyway which is a bit disappointing but oh well
