Since this thread seems to have turned into a Voodoo 3 cooling show and tell, here is my Frankenstein. It was a 55ns RAM card that was unfortunately missing a lot of components. This is the end result of a long restoration.

Not all Voodoo 3s have glued on heatsinks, some of mine are attached with metal pins. In this particular case the card came to me fairly damaged and lacking any heatsink at all.

How did you removed the original heatsink? Was it easy?

Is this card V3 2000 or 3000?

A cheap DeepCool V40, and 2-pin to 3-pin adapter from AliExpress:

The cooler has 55 mm between mounting clips. And Voodoo pcb has mounting holes with little less than 57 mm between them.
A needle file and a couple minutes of work fix the issue:

Of course, a full solution includes a fan speed controller to bring the noice down.
Basically, I think any cheap cooler with 55 mm mounting may work. But it should have a circular form, not square.

It’s 3000. And it came with some heatsink, but not original. Sorry, not sure about 2000.
