YT converted quality is not so good, so you might not notice that the checkerboard in the upper area has some texture.

Hacking in 720x480 in the Voodoo drivers' inf as new modes + TV output + Flicker Filter 0 = sharp and fills the signal 😀

Well UT2004 looks better than running on V2 SLI 😉.
Oddly I have only upto 480p option in YT and not 720p on your video.

well I meant 720 as in 720x480 since that's what i'm running it at to maximize the TV out capturing (though it's still cropped at edges by 4 pixels or so and theres' also that analog signal 'sharpness'

I've ran UT2004 on a Voodoo2 before, it had the same exact artifact seen there around 3:07, it's a d3d vertex combine error malfunction with the detail stages (used on that particular model for shine)

Yeah, as you have probably seen I also have 3DMark2001 on this system but the demo of 3DMark2001 does not run on Voodoo2.

Strange. I was able to 3DMark2001 a Voodoo2 before. The best marks I could get out of a single one (backed with a P4) was 500.

Well it was not about running the benchmark but the demo. The demo requires to run the Nature part which afaik requires the ability to render into textures. Voodoo2 does not run the nature part in 3DMark2001SE.

Pretty sure the Nature test requires DX8 hardware pixel/vertex shaders. It doesn't run on a GF2 or GF4MX either. Requires at least a GF4Ti, GF3 or Radeon 8500 IIRC
You can complete the benchmark and receive a score even if your card is incapable of running Nature.

The "Nature" bit of the demo doesn't require pixel shader as it only looks at a small stream instead of a lake

The render-to-texture part concerns the very beginning with the statue, and all those 3d cube effects (prior to the FALLING DOWN TO EARTH bit)

And I think I remember running the demo on the Voodoo2... I know it can't run on Savage2000 though!

Well the truth is, 3DMark2001 SE demo does not run on Voodoo2 (benchmark does without nature part).
Though I don't think recording a benchmark run is worth the show.

Final Reality from Voodoo2 SLI at 200% size encoded for YT at 1280x960 x264 2pass baseline 6 MBit/s,
Now YT downscaled and blurred it to 960x720 calling it HD:

For YT it's best to upload videos with 720 or 1080 horizontal lines.

If your footage is 640 x 480 just use your encoding program and resize is to 1440 x 1080.
