Yess, please 😀
It's time to dig up my Diamond Edge card now and test it in my newly aquired AST P100 pc 😀

Somebody should point me to a video of these demos/accelerator in action. I tried looking around but no luck. Maybe there are none to found. Of course if someone has the hardware and a video camera....
*hint hint*

don't hold your breath though, games still look like in software mode, but they should be faster in slower systems... I saw no real difference when I tried Toshinden in my K6II/400...
Driver cd is up, says it will work with 2000 and 3000 series cards. I have a 2000 series too but I don't have the original disk with it.
The card uses tech that is very similar to how Sega Saturn renders 3D but it's probably faster at it. It doesn't do bilinear filtering so it'll look mostly like "software" rendering. But that's why NV1 got Saturn games and a port for a Saturn controller. 😀
I wonder if a Matrox Mystique is more powerful? Wouldn't be surprised if it is. A ViRGE is definitely more powerful simply due to its ability to perform bilinear filtering. Believe it or not! Of course, ViRGE doesn't also have a pos sound card built in....
Uh oh. Bushwack you need to include CUE files with BINs. Otherwise the images won't work properly.
Yeah I only tested the card for functionality, i never installed the driver and played the games yet. Saving it for a rainy day I guess.

Bear with me... 😢
EDIT: I put them up together in one 7z. The other two were ISOs.
Been trying to get my hands on a Virge GX 4mb card. Anyone willing to swap out for this Edge 3D?
Watch out, at least some of the ViRGE "S3D" games only detect the original chip.
One GX card that's "nice" though is the STB Nitro 3D.

Dito! 😀
Gonna try my Hercules Thriller card too 😁

n addition to offering high resolution, high quality 3D texture maps, the Hercules Thriller 3D also supports an extended set of "advanced 3D features" and supports an extended set of "advanced 3D features" and "3D special effects" in hardware, including sub-pixel/sub-texel accuracy, MIP mapping, trilinear filtering, and texture modulation for smoothly lit gaming scenes. Special 3D effects can also be programmed in micro code and executed on the Hercules Thriller 3D’s RISC engine, such as the water effects in Tomb Raider.
Amigaz, it is OBLIGATORY to post shots of that!
