Unless you have an AWE and GUS in the machine, and put all of your daughterboards in external enclosures (http://queststudios.com/smf/index.php?topic=2211.40) and/or buy the self contained midi modules instead - all bases covered!

*Then* you can have your cake and eat it! Of course, it would be rather expensive to have a version of every midi daughterboard and all the regular external modules too! 😀

your rigth that will get very very expensive that why I said you can't have your cake and eat it after all there not one card that dose all of it.
