I used 56.64 , and I found it to be the fastest and more stable than some of the earlier drivers I used on my Geforce2 Ti with an Abit BX6 . certainly do not go for anything later as I found that it caused numerous issues, for instance the textures in No One Lives Forever were completely missing with later drivers. Or a bunch of Quake3 engine games not starting at all.

Ok, so I've done some tests and blood 2, quake 1 and 2, thief, alien vs predator gold, quake 2, blood, duke nukem, heretic 1 and 2, hexen 1 and 2 all play at 800x600, or as close as they can get to that res, at more than acceptable FPS.

Doom isn't just a game, it's an apocalypse survival simulator.

First, I love it when newbies hijack my threads. 😜 Second, I have relegated this computer to mid to late 90's games because that's what I have realized I play the most, second I am keeping my eyes peeled for a 32mb Rage 128 Ultra Pro (screw the order the adjectives come in, 😜) Also, Sorta semi replying to another thread I saw earlier, I don't know if its because Direct3D/DX has better performance than 3DFX, but I also experience blazing fast, for its time, frames per second on my favourite 9X games. Also, on a side note as I am writing this post I am installing windows ME on a spare computer and so far I have had 12 fatal errors, funny enough I have had NTKERNEL fail on my twice during install, updating system settings, yet when I press enter it continues the setup. I think it is almost done. Also, for pcem do you have to compile it to get it to use other bios and Vbios? I have a bios dump of my 128 pro card and I was wondering if I could use it with the emu.

Doom isn't just a game, it's an apocalypse survival simulator.

PCem only works with specific cards it is programmed to emulate. You can't just toss any Geforce2 bios in there and expect a working Geforce2 (or anything newer *COUGH*Thanks Jack*COUGH*)

Darn 🙁 So, how would one program the card into it? look at the I/O traces?

You would need to write the code to emulate the actual hardware. This is a significant task. You would need to know
the hardware details of the card and be familiar with emulator development.
