PCMCIA cards have a small memory that contains some config parameters and the brand/model, the utility cardinfo from the cardsoft directory can show it the brand/model name.

Sorry to resurrect an old post, but would someone point me the instructions to setup the packet driver for OB300 + EN2226-1? I have an OB300 and an OB530, my EN2226-1 works everywhere: hp 720lx, any windows 95 and up, hp 200lx... I could not make it work on any DOS, though. My OB300 is using a 256MB CF as HD, rom 1.0 ABA. I got Ni-Mh high capacity batteries and the beast just keep on and on without never asking for recharge. My OB-530 has a refitted battery, can't last 1 hour, though. I have been trying 3com, xircom, and other cards as well. But I am aware that EN2226-1 is the one reported to work, I just need to know how. Perhaps a custom pointer, like done for hp 200lx?
