Today, I received a Coppermine Celeron 1100Mhz processor (1100/128/100 - 1,75v). I just plugged in the slotket and setup slotket with default configuration jumpers ("auto"). I plugged in the slot 1 and powered on the board. My surprise is that it did boot either 🙁

I tried to manually setup slotket for 100Mhz and manual voltage but no luck 🙁

What I see that is different from before is that motherboard LEDs are in a different status than before (all were RED using the other processors on the slotket).
Now is showing LED2 = GREEN, LED3 = GREEEN, LED4 = RED and LED5 = RED that manual states "Decompressing BIOS image to RAM for fast booting.".

My guess is that there is something wrong with the slotket because if I switch to slot 1 P3 500Mhz it works perfectly.

It`s look like broken slotket.
May be SN74TVC are dead?

foxzflow, those Slot1 and s370 MSI mainboards are notoriously known for their bad capacitors. Sometimes they look good but in fact they lost their parameters. It's better to do recap for sure especially in CPU and RAM voltage regulators circuits. IMO, the slocket is alright.

P.S. Also I would try to clean contacts of edge connector of the slocket using a soft eraser and then an IPA.

IMO, the slocket is alright.

I don`t think so.
P3 500MHz is Katmai with TDP 37.5W.
And it`s running fine
To check, it's worth trying to run Celeron coppermine at 1.5V and 66 bus speeds. It will consume around 20 watts.
I would check the Vtt voltage on the board and adapter, should be 1.5V

But Katmai has different core voltage. Anyway, the photo shows typical way how vintage MSI boards look like before recapping 😀
